Hot!!! Well, I could not blame you if that’s the first word you will think of with the photo on the left side. But no, this is not about me. Scorching heat, bright sunshine, girls in bikinis and all the sweat glands activated. 

Yes , I am talking about hot , hot, sizzling summer , the heat of summer sunshine. 

March marks the start of the most awaited season for everyone ….. SUMMER!  Summer means  many different things to different people. No classes for students. We all like that aren’t we? For busy working people , you guys need a break . Common , enough with overtime . Take a break and have a life this summer.  For me? I have a lot of plans actually.

 My travel blogging journey has reached all expectations and brought me happiness and so much confidence. Now that summer of 2012 is in full swing , I want this season to add more fun and spice to my travel blogging life .Taking it from the quote I read:

 

 

” Summer is kind of like the ultimate one night stand , hot as hell, totally thrilling and gone before you know it – Cosmopolitan”  

I will make sure my summer will end with a blast!

So aside from checking and updating my social networking sites and cleaning up my room ( quite an adventure). I have come up with plans  to make this summer of 2012 the best and memorable one. And if you agree, go right ahead , come and join me. Well , if you are a laid-back person , starting off with a tour of Old Town with Carlos Celdran  wont be bad at all.  You can join him with his walking tours of Intramuros and some of the old district in Manila. Get acquainted with some of the historical places of Manila. The famous Rizal Park,  Fort Santiago, Manila Cathedral and a lot  more.   Take a Calesa ride , rent a motorbike or mountain bike and explore around Manila and nearby provinces. Riding a motorbike is not just a sport, but it is the best way to rediscover places. Or you can take time to know our roots and  tradition inside a museum.

Most of the time , City life can be very stressful , it can become so boring . And what else do you encounter aside from the pollution and heavy traffic? A massive number of crowd in the metropolis. So pack your bag and prepare for a beach trip.  For some people, everything about the ocean is truly a breath of fresh air. Its sand and appearance will certainly give you a sense of solitude and freedom. There are many beaches you can explore in the Philippines . You can have time with your family and friends building white sand castles or collect some sea shells along the shore.

They say diving is more fun in Davao. Go to Samal Island for an inexpensive dive courses . Experience the real adventure  and embrace the tranquility of our mother nature’s best sanctuaries.

I am always looking forward to an extreme out-of-town adventures. Some people choose beaches as their usual getaway in the country during summer. While an adventure nuts like me prefer an extreme activities. I guess , I just want to be extreme this time and conquer  all my fears. Lucky enough, there are gears and other outdoor stuff that will make me safe, comfortable and looking very good. Thanks to Spyder for giving us the freedom to choose the best gear possible. Extreme Adventure may sound like a complete fun. Pursuing challenging adventures like running , biking and climbing and a lot more will surely keep my summer alive. So better find a great pair of shoes this season.  And inspite of the quality of the shoes available in the market, it is always the  best to properly protect your feet against possible injuries. Not all shoes are  created equal . It all depends on what you specifically looking for and what you are more than willing to invest. It ranges from a simple shoes to the most advanced . I strongly suggest Skechers Go Run so you will go a long way. 

This summer I will try to do the things I have never done before. Maybe cliff diving in Malapascua? Can you imagine yourself falling through the air? That’s incredible. Or probably try another thrilling activity through cable wires . If you want to experience something new and extreme then get dose of a genuine adventure . Go zipping. I have tried this when I was in Corregidor. I am a die-hard adventure seeker so I definitely have to try this whenever there is a chance. Let your adrenaline rush increase. Surfing in Baler on the other hand is what I am excited about. It’s another way to relax and commune with nature and at the same time you learn a new skill. Rather than being a couch potato, why not learn the art of surfing?

Other extreme summer activities you can try are tramping, rock climbing, river trekking and a lot more. I am very happy I took some of those challenges last summer and somehow I achieved something extraordinary. These kind of action packed outdoor activities are the things that I would like to be engaged into. At the same time , it’s also an opportunity for me to capture the beauty of our country.

So wherever you are . Whether you are on a trip somewhere, at the beach, hopping on an island, riding a mountain bike and climbing up  mountains, it’s always the best to wear your spyder sunglasses with adequate UV protection. This will not only help our eyes from ultraviolet rays but will always make us look nice when we pose through a camera with a popular hot spot as a backdrop.
