HUDYAKA ZANORTE 2012 CLOSING FIREWORKS DISPLAY

CROSSROADS | HUDYAKA FIREWORKS7424502120 874833bcc4 z HUDYAKA ZANORTE 2012 CLOSING FIREWORKS DISPLAY

The provincial government of Zamboanga Del Norte promised a colorful and glittering show to highlight the official closing ceremony of 2012 Hudyaka Festival. The brigtening display of fireworks lasted for around 15 consecutive minutes. Incredible fireworks display heated and lit up the surrounding areas of Central Dipolog. Please forgive me as I did not have an acceptable shot of the fireworks display . I was having a hardtime shooting fireworks without a tripod. There were floats from different municipalities of Zamboanga Del Norte and we picked a nice float where we could perfectly shoot the fireworks display . In the end , we were thrilled by the magical display of fire in the sky.

I travelled all the way from Manila to Dipolog to be welcomed by the local government of Dipolog and the provincial tourism staff of Zanorte. They were very welcoming. I’m so glad that they now starting to embrace the power of social media through blogging. Blogging generally can help their local festival be known and help encourage tourists to visit the province.

It was such an incredible start and end of the festival . I just thought it was never-ending. Very brilliant display of fireworks in the sky which reminds me of the dazzling Pyrolympics 2012 last March at the Mall of Asia. I really felt so at home. Dipolog and the rest of the municipalities are such a beautiful city. It is very much the same of Metro Manila but more quiet and peaceful. It was definitely worth the trip.

Nice fireworks shots. Did you use DSLR? I’m wondering what Hudyaka Festival is all about.

    • http://www.juanderfulpinoy.com/about-2/ ©juanderfulpinoy.com|Chino

Hi Rossel, yes i used DSLR. “Hudyaka” is an old local dialect which means a “great moment of merry-making.” The Hudyaka Zanorte is an annual gathering of all the provinces towns to showcase the best of the whole  Zamboanga del Norte .

    • http://www.juanderfulpinoy.com/about-2/ ©juanderfulpinoy.com|Chino

Are you referring to Zamboanga City or Zamboanga Del Sur?

Dipolog is in Zamboanga Del Norte which is a very peaceful and quiet province. Needless to say there are no terrorist groups in Zamboanga Del Norte lol. I can reassure that . Safe to travel? Yes very safe…  I hope people from Zanorte read this post in this way they can leave comments too and tell us how safe it is to travel in their province.

Hello Kalabasa, believe me, it would have been a lot easier if a tripod is around , fireworks could have been shot perfectly. Ofcourse , you can, tamang timpla lang yan ng settings.

  • Kalabasa K. Kamote

Hi Tess, I was even more excited about the tarp more than the fireworks. I mentioned this numerous times but I personally commend people who initiated this project. The power of social media specially blogging is indeed powerful. I just hope that the local govermnt of different provinces follow what Zanorte started.  Thanks for reading. Appreciate it.
