After Borawan Island, we did not waste time and also visited another famous beach in Padre Burgos. The Dampalitan beach which is very clean and totally unspoiled beach in the area . I was really amazed because pinetrees are scattered all over the place.I mean pine trees are everywhere which reminds me of Anawangin and Talisayin Cove in Zambales. I must say that this is truly a hidden gem of Padre Burgos. This resort is not crowded . I can’t say anything but my photos will explain everything .
Dampalitan Island is a 10-15 minute boat ride from the Vista Playa Restaurant , that’s where you can find boats to rent. You can always bargain for the boat ride but again that depends on your haggling skills. Prices vary from the number of heads or perhaps the number of islands you would like to visit . But under the normal circumstances it’s about 800.00 pesos that includes your meal. Breakfast, lunch , dinner are included on the package . Unfortunately for us we got the package for 800.00 per head which include the Borawan island tour and Dampalitan beach . Others say , during off-peak season , they would offer you 800.00 pesos and they could take you to a maximum of 4 beaches. Again it depends on your skills. hihihi.
Dampalitan beach has an entrance fee of 50.00 and you have the option to either rent for a cottage for additional 200.00. Should you wish to stay overnight , you can also camp here and pitch for a tent which costs normally 150.00 pesos depending on the size of your tent. Again your haggling skills is very important. Just a headsup there is no electricity here but toilet and fresh water are available. Expect the price is not reasonable so keep that in mind .. Bring your own food…
Dampalitan is a pretty laid back beach I have seen so far. Traveling to these islands made my weekend so special . Now I feel the urge more to share these fantastic places I have visited so far within Quezon Province. Quezon Province does not only remind me of the Pahiyas festival but also the secret getaway for a busy Manilenyo and a genuine pinoy NOMAD like me. The greatest thing about this trip is meeting new set of friends! Thats all for now…Be safe..
