During my recent trip to Calayan, Babuyan Island, I was able to add a new set of friends and a surrogate family while I was away from home. I also have discovered so many things about this gorgeous destination in the middle of Aparri and Batanes. Featuring attractions and landmarks in Calayan Islands, things to do in Calayan deserve a separate blog posts. The Serenity of the beaches, a beachfront resort on a remote uninhabited island combined with the laid back life in the province is what i like the most!
Getting electricity on a remote island isn’t always as easy as on the mainland but thanks to a reliable fuel powered generators made our lives easier. The other night when the full moon is up, I had a constant conversation with a group of young wanderers who had quite a number of plans for their future. For some reason, I had so much contemplations and realizations at that point. A few thoughts have crossed my mind, but I never envisioned last summer’s trip to Calayan Island would turn to be a summer to remember.
When I was traveling to Calayan Island, I found myself thinking, “This place is great”. How did I get to Calayan Island in the first place? Life offers us with lots of opportunities to meet new faces and to try new experiences, but in some cases we segregate the opportunities because we’re lazy, we don’t want to compromise or we are scared.
Traveling is no doubt one of the most thrilling and exciting experiences one could ever have in their lifetime. Traveling keeps your soul alive, awaken your senses and cover the colorful world in a new shade. It may seem kind of like a hobby for a certain individual, but in real world, anyone can explore the world. Traveling can create remarkable memories which can be a great conversation starter, promotes independence and can also help one figure out what they want to do with their life. Trust me these are just some of the elements that makes traveling so wonderful. The experiences are worth the cost.
Today, I am excited to introduce another travel nutcase, friend of mine, Carla, who is the person behind Blissfulguro.com. FIND ME A CHEAP HOLIDAY now- Life can be so stressful these days. With the rise of modern technology and social networking demands, obviously we haven’t been cracking from all the pressure. We must reward ourselves most of the time and somehow take the time to look for cheap holiday packages.
