CEBU ITINERARY|EXPLORING CEBU AT ITS BEST FOR LESS THAN PHP3000
One of the greatest things about traveling is to spend less and travel more. So today, I am going to share with you my recent trip to Cebu.
My best travel friend Angel and myself will be traveling to Cebu for the second time! We wanted to explore and discover the best of Cebu as its best in the cheapest and affordable way. So I come up with an itinerary that I personally believe anybody would be able to agree. With this simple itinerary , everybody can get an understanding that Cebu is very extraordinary place in the country.
Our goal is to spend at least less than Php3000.00 . This amount excludes our plane ticket. I knew it was going to be a very challenging experience for us.
October 9 to October 11 (Trip to Cebu)
October 9 (sunday)
8am – NAIA ( airport)
9am – Mactan International Airport
9:30am cab from Mactan International Airport to Lapu-Lapu Shrine (php65 each)
10am-11:30am- Lapu Lapu shrine trip
11:30am- Now it’s eating time
From Lapu-lapu shrine to SM City Cebu. We decided to have lunch in a popular restaurant specializing in Lechon, the CNT Lechon has a branch in front of the SM City Cebu. (php62 each)
12pm- Cab to Hotel Roseate, Fuente Circle (Php50 each)
Hotel Roseate – Php450 each
We left our bags at the hotel and headed to our next destination the Taoist temple.
1pm- Cebu Taoist temple . Built in 1972, the Cebu Taoist Temple is located in Beverly Hills Subdivision in Cebu City, Philippines.
(cab from Roseate to Cebu Taoist temple is Php 50 each)

If you have not heard of the word Larsian, then you probably haven’t been around Cebu. Larsian is one of Cebu’s most prominent eating place in the province.

Visit the Orchid Gallery with mini zoo in Moalboal. Entrance for the Orchid gallery is Php 10 each.
8am- From our Hotel to Ceres bus terminal Php32.50 each
travel time takes approximately three hours from the bus terminal to MOALBOAL.Airconditioned bus

11:30am MoalBoal . We met Lito , our trike driver and tourguide (Php150each) Tour includes Panagsama beach sidetrip and Orchids Gallery in Moalboal Cebu.
1pm – we headed to White beach . Hotel HK (Php 750 each)
I strongly suggest you stay at the panagsama beach instead of whitebeach if you want an unforgettable night life then you should stay there. I was told there’s a backpackers lodge there for as low as P200 each. Panagsama is where all the dive shops and night life of Moal Boal is. There not much of a beach there just so you know.
We had lunch , I tried the beef steak and it was absolutely delicious for Php 175 including softdrinks.
I bought two shirts for Php 100 each
Dinner Php150 each
breakfast (may baon kaming cup noodles hihi)
7am – Kawasan Falls with our guide (php300 each)
Kawasan Falls is a popular getaway destination in the southern part of Cebu. You’ll have to cross 3 small bridges before reaching the falls.
heads-up ( Malayo talaga, baka mangawit ang iyong puwet sa pagkakaupo)
You can hire a tour guide/ porter for Php 200 each but that is optional . We did not hire one.
Kawasan Falls Ligo time ( picture-taking and swimming)
1pm- Goodbye MoalBoal , bus ride Php 107 each
Food -Php40 each
The trip costs Php 2991 each.
You will love the falls which is located inside the mountains of Badian. Just trek uphill for approximately 20 to 30 minutes depending on your energy to get to the very first waterfall. Get enchanted and be amazed with a peaceful river , abundant vegetation and a gentle flowing water .
If you want an extreme holiday vacation , you can always add an ultimate Island hopping just like what I did last December with friends.
