This is another beautiful church situated in the heart of Makati City .Nuestra Señora de Gracia Church was Built by the Augustinian friars and the great thing about it is that, I was told this church is a
UNESCO world heritage site too. This European-Baroque inspired church is named Nuestra Señora de Gracia in honor of the miraculous image of the Virgin Mary.
A 400 yar old church has become the most indemand church wedding venue for many people in the metro Manila. This church is situated at the back of Guadalupe bridge. We really had a hard time locating the church as it is hidden at the back of Guadalupe bridge along Edsa.
If you would like to visit Nuestra Señora de Gracia Church, if you will be coming from the north edsa you can take the right turn to Bernardino st and from the south of Edsa , you can take the road to Pateros then turn left to JP Rizal then up left to get you to North bound Edsa.Driving down to the street of Bernardino , you will be welcomed by the people living along the area. Just drive and watch the sign for Nuestra Senora de Gracia church. Dont be afraid to ask the people living along the street.. They will take you to the right place . =) Forgive me , but we were not good in driving directions but somehow we got to the right place. I thought we’ll never find it. Not until , I saw the historical church located in the area . According to history , it was originally constructed in 1629 and was rebuilt in 1882 as it was slightly damaged due to an earthquake.
This is also part of my recent visita iglesia happened last week…
