Palaisdaan Restaurant is one of the best country dining restaurants in the province of Quezon. It is located at foot of mystical Mt. Banahaw in Sitio Lanzonesan, Brgy. Dapdap, along the Tayabas-Lucban provincial road (a declared tourism zone) in Tayabas, Quezon. It is approximately 136 kms. from Manila and 8 kms. from Tayabas town proper. Sitting in a 1.3 hectare-land of idyllic beauty (at 750 feet above sea level), it is blessed with cool climate, bracing mountain breeze, lush vegetation, and spring water that flows abundantly into its fishponds and waterfalls. The 34 bamboo huts (24 of them floating) 4 pavilions, and other structures are designed and built to complement the rustic ambiance of the restaurant.

oooh lala tilapia

blogger karen, so alluring =)

for skin germ protection =)

love the exterior

cheers to goodlife!

But its best attraction is still the food. With tilapia raised abundantly in the fishponds, fish dishes like grilled tilapia, sinugno and ginataan are their specialties among others. Native delicacies like longganisa, budin and nilupak are also available. For an authentic feel of the country life, these are eaten with bare hands. However, spoons and fork are available upon request.

After the Pahiyas festival, we had our lunch here , special thanks to my blogger  friend nina , for introducing this to us …

Menu??? oh boy! reasonably priced..

fully booked hihihi

Its open day and night. Sculptures and other interiors are fascinating. This is one of the best floating restaurants i have been to. They serve most of the best Filipino dishes like pinakbet, sinigang, lechon kawali and more. When we visited the place we tried to balance the food we eat but we cant help it hihihi  so we ordered sinigang na sugpo, tilapia, lechon kawali, pork liempo and a lot more.

You can rest assured that its worth the trip although its somewhat isolated . I am so glad i made a lot of research about the best restaurant in Quezon.. We made it hihihi….Two thumbs up for Kamayan sa Palaisdaan I will see you again on May 15th  hihihi. I strongly recommend this place… Chinchan knows best =) As a traveller every single penny counts , ” maganda at masarap pero di sing mahal” . Its truly a one of a kind  foodtrip and gala trip…

check it out!!!
