The huge artificial lagoon has been attracting tourists at the Capitol Park and Lagoon. This provincial park features an artificial lagoon that holds a huge pool with tilapia fish. It has the colonial inspired capitol building. The provincial capitol is approximately three blocks away from the cathedral of San Sebastian. You don’t need to look for a cab or ride a public jeepney afterall it feels good to walk so you get to appreciate the city tour.
The capitol was originally constructed from 1924-1935. The entrance is passing through wide stairs which is parallel in length to the colonnade.
Architecture, sculptures of the Capitol and the lagoon is attributed to the national artist for sculpture Guillermo Tolentino.
