I can imagine traveling all by myself. I bet you go for solo travels too. We share the same sentiments. You know the feeling of sharing the sights and the experience of a new destination?

The benefit of traveling has always had a special place in our hearts. We all like to share the thoughts with our special someone, with friends, family. I just love the peaceful moments walking hand in hand with fellow wanderers. This is what makes an adventure very special to us.

PINAY TRAVELISTA

This month of January, I am pleased to introduce Lisa of Pinay Travelista and find out why its more fun to travel in the Philippines.

WHAT KIND OF TRAVELER ARE YOU?
I, honestly, do not know what kind. I mean I backpack, do outdoors, luxury travel (once-in-a-blue-moon-times), adventure trips, and even take package tours depending who I travel with. Some, I prefer more than the others. I don’t want to be stereotyped, and limited to something when we can gain so much from any experience. Can I be just someone who likes to do sustainable travel regardless of what? *grins*

WHAT IS IT ABOUT TRAVEL THAT PEOPLE LOVE
– Minus having to score a photo of you in a famous landmark that’s postcard-perfect, scratching off one place at a time, and loads of photos to share to family, and friends — the memories you get, friendships found along the way, and the snippets of life’s lessons on the road are some of what people love about traveling. What I most love about it is the meaningful experiences that makes you want to give back more.

ABOUT HER TRAVEL BLOG
– I’ve been blogging for sometime now, ranting a lot online. Pinay Travelista was a product of boredom, heartache, and, uhm, some other stuff I am now thankful of. It started as a blog to share with family, and friends, and is, now, into more than sharing my experiences on travel by also giving information. It encourages others for a lifestyle that they might like, and sweetly pushing for sustainable travel to everyone.

HER NEXT DESTINATION
– I still have not decided yet! LOL! Two trips are up on the same dates, and I still have not decided which to go to on the 2nd weekend of January. A PHL360 team reunion is coming up on the same time a college friend will be tying the knot with her beau. Either a roadtrip somewhere with travel buddies, or Dumaguete-Siquijor with friends and possibly 2 other destinations alone after.

FAVORITE TRAVEL DESTINATION
Camiguin! I’ve been visiting it time and again, and I still find it charming.

Travel memories are made out of the simplest things. Every adventure is worth keeping. Thanks Lisa for your time. To get to know more of Lisa, check out her blog at Pinay Travelista.
