WHERE TO STAY IN BALER | PACIFIC WAVES INN

It was indeed a very long trip to Baler , but it was worth it. The preparation for our long trip to the province of Aurora gave us a wonderful time to reflect what we were about to experience on the road. The  long and bumpy bus ride at the Elbow bus, the number of stops and how long we had to wait and the unforgettable moments with the king of the road.

Our accommodation was taken care of by Brenna and Robbie. I am glad we reserved and booked a cheaper place to rent overnight without the fear of running out of cash. The group shared a big room which is enough for us to feel the Baler life. Thanks to Pacific Waves Inn at the Sabang Beach in the province of Baler.

And from the time I set my eyes on Pacific Waves Inn, I knew it was love at first sight. At a first glance of a hotel or inn  can either make or break your heart kind of stuff. I was surprised to know it was not bad as I had expected . Brenna and Robbie really had a great job for choosing this place. It was a home sweet home for all of us. Everyone of us enjoyed taking the photos in every corner of the room . The bathroom is clean , bed sheets , linens and I love the whole package.

There’s a front porch at the second floor which where we stayed and it made me feel so cool as you can see the magnificent view of Sabang beach. The front porch is a nice place to reflect , to unwind , to work and enjoy the beautiful spot of Sabang beach. The view of the sea from the porch was superb. Although it rained for a few moments , we did not mind after all the sound of the rain and the pounding surf outside of the inn was very soothing.

I actually thought we were not so lucky to find out a cheaper place to stay in Baler. Our room is so welcoming , generally clean and beautiful. The bathroom is perfect too. It was just a small inn but the design is charming. Airconditioning was working and the service was excellent.

Over all experience , Two thumbs up. Generally in most cases we prefer a perfect setting to enjoy the scenic view of a beach and at the same time the ability  to go ahead and relax at the nearby seashore after a long and tiring day tour. I was hoping to stay a little bit longer and make the most of our time there. I recommend Pacific Waves Inn if you happen to be in Baler.

Don’t stay at Pacific Waves Inn – Annex. My friends and I stayed there for 4 days and we got robbed on our second day! The incident happened while my friends were sleeping. The caretaker, Donna is of no help. The locals said that incidents like this are common in said establishment. Beware!

Hi Chico, I am very sorry to hear about your not so good experience at Pacific Waves Inn. I can imagine how if feels like being robbed so if that happens to me I would be very upset too. The Annex was not there yet when we stayed. Our experience was entirely great there though. Have you reported this to the owners of Pacific Waves? Did they do something about it? Would love to hear your story. Thanks -Chino

      Hi Chico,
it was indeed an unfortunate incident but let us set the records straight..

first off, you said you stayed for 4days and got robbed on the 2nd day(as you claim)? how come you stayed without informing the managers/owners?
second, we reported this to the proper authorities but as a protocol, you being the victim should be the one to personally report the incident to file a police blotter..as per the police protocol,3rd parties can not file in behalf of the victims. but we would do all the necessary assistance we can provide.
thirdly, I was personally contacting you and your colleague who directly booked with us but we did not get any response. you were not replying nor returning our calls.

As of now, there are police officers who roam the area regularly especially during wee hours to ensure safety of every guest aside from the secured gates and fences and other security measures.

anyway, in behalf of the management, we sincerely express our apologies for this unfortunate/remote incident.
feel free to contact me so i can personally handle the matter and provide you with every assistance we can extend.
