The Asus Zenfone 4 Max Lite has a 5.2 inch HD IPS screen. The resolution is 1280 x 720. It also comprises a fingerprint scanner which is a feature that many smartphone buyers have been expecting by now. The Asus Zenfone 4 Max Lite runs on a 4, 100mAh battery which supports fast charging. This is one of the most favourable features about this smartphone which is regarded as truly being quick to charge.
The Asus Zenfone 4 Max Lite’s body is quite durable. Made from polycarbonate plastic but with a metallic finish, it has a sleek look which will be favoured by many. The screen is large, being 5.2inch, and it has 2.5D curved glass.
The micro USB port is at the bottom along with the speaker grille. The headphone jack can be found on top of the phone, and on the left one can access the SIM tray. On the right hand side there is the power button and the volume control. The front camera is on top and it has a dedicated LED Flash which is ideal for selfies being taken in low light. On the top part one will also find the call speaker. On the bottom there is the fingerprint scanner which also acts as the home button. The dual camera is on the upper left hand side at the back of the phone.
The color accuracy for this smartphone is quite good, and the sound quality is clear though not too loud. The phone comes with earphones which are of a good quality. The quality if the cameras is not exceptional, but it can be considered as being good enough for most users. The images are accurate in terms of color and the auto-focus is quite fast. However the quality of images taken in low-light conditions is not that good so do not expect too much. The video quality though can be said to be decent.
The Asus Zenfone 4 Max Lite is being sold for about PHP 7,995 and so it is definitely a budget-friendly smartphone when compared to most other smartphones currently being sold on the market.
It is a relatively basic phone but its specs and features are definitely good enough for most users who are not looking for a phone that is too powerful. When it comes to buying a smartphone it is important to consider one’s needs, and if one uses the smartphone for basic usage such as calling, messaging, using social media apps and maybe some light gaming, this smartphone is definitely good enough and offers value for money.
