It must be very tiring after a long bus ride from Manila to Legazpi which made me think that you can’t escape the impact of a long bus trip. It’s late night when we arrived in Legazpi City. How I wish I could have the power to move from one place to another quickly and in that way I could arrive where I wanted to be.

It’s my ritual not to stress myself too much so I go easy with myself. There are so many things I wanted to do, so what I’ll be doing in the next couple of hours would be to get a few basic things which is to purchase something in the closest convenience store. I would probably hangout with the locals or go somewhere close to the hotel, church hopping and familiarizing myself with the city. Perhaps to wake up to see the summer sunshine to start my day.
I am still half asleep though but I guess a breath of fresh air is probably what I really need. I am still waiting for my two travel buddies Elal and Marx. They’re probably on board right now.
In the meantime while waiting for them I will try to search for the nice and comfortable place for us to stay overnight. And since I have recently embraced the backpacking culture, finding cheap hotels and booking cheap hotels are just on my list.
I finally found our home sweet home in Legazpi City which is located at the 3rd floor V & O Building corner Quezon Avenue and Lapu lapu street, Legazpi tourist Inn.
From the bus terminal near Gaisano Mall, I asked a tricycle driver to take me to the nearest Inn along Lapu Lapu Street. It is actually a short distance away from the main town of Legazpi City . Although the building looks old, the rooms and the bathrooms are clean .
Everything is clean and the staff welcomed me with a big smile. There is also a huge parking lot at the ground floor. I also like the combination of powdered blue and mint green colored wall of our room. The color gives us a bright note which imitates the color of nature. The dramatic effects of the colored wall was blended with a framed murals. Our room was pretty simple yet it brings a little effect of outdoors without making the room feel rustic.
If you happen to be in Legazpi City and you are on a super tight budget, book at Legazpi Tourist Inn, it has a great location just right at the heart of the City of Legazpi.
