It’s the time of the year when people are having a look at their calendars to plan ahead when and where to spend another unforgettable vacation. And when it comes to destinations to explore and experience, Palawan has been consistently an exciting and popular choice. Tourists, both local and foreign, get to Palawan for obvious reasons, which is to enjoy its gorgeous landscapes and seascapes.
I have been traveling almost non-stop in the past couple of months and although I really love what I’m doing, being addicted to travel, it does get to you after a while. I’d like to think that being on the road can be so tiring.
And so when Palo Alto Bed and Breakfast extended an invite for a holiday getaway, In a blink of an eye, I found myself boarding a flight bound for Puerto Princesa.

The hotel offers wonderful recreational facilities such as outdoor pool, pool (kids), garden and massage to make your stay truly unforgettable. Palo Alto Bed and Breakfast is an ideal place of stay for travelers seeking charm, comfort and convenience in Palawan.
Palo Alto Bed and Breakfast would be our home base for the coming days in Puerto Princesa. Compared to the hotel accommodation I’ve previously stayed at in Puerto Princesa, I would definitely choose Palo Alto over that one in a snap.
Activities are up for grabs in Puerto Princesa, aptly named as the “City in a Forest” because it’s home to lush rain forests and wildlife reserves. No trip to Palawan would be complete without visiting the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, which features the world’s longest navigable underground river.
Another major draw is the pleasure of island-hopping. At Honda Bay, boats transport guests to and from islets for lunch picnics, snorkeling and swimming.
So a big thank you to Palo Alto Bed and Breakfast for not only providing our accommodation for our stay in Puerto Princesa, but also for giving us the opportunity to rediscover the best of Palawan.
Now, time to leave our comfy bed because it’s time to go and explore Puerto Princesa!
