I have made a couple of reviews in my previous posts for a hotel accommodation. Today, What you are about to read is about my personal experience for the whole night with 12 fantastic bloggers at the Gran Prix Hotel and suites in Manila. The hotel is situated at 1325 A. Mabini Street just near Robinsons Place Ermita. Gran Prix Hotel, in french , first of all means grand prize which is a chain of econotels offering affordable, safe and clean accommodation and efficient hotel service for local and foreign tourists, transients and travelers.
Just to give you a heads up, Gran Prix Hotel is a 100% Filipino owned company, which started back in 2006 . It has several branches located in cebu, Boracay, Pasay, Cubao, Tarlac and the newly opened branch in Manila.
Meanwhile , twelve lucky bloggers were invited to participate at the Gran Prix Hotel Manila’s 1st blogger party. The event happened at 6pm on May 6th friday until 12noon on the following day. The party was organized by Orange Magazine TV and Gran Prix Hotels and resorts.
The program started at around 7pm with the meet and greet of The Gran Prix Hotels and Resorts executives and officers. Before the conference started, Namayan restaurant (also the conference and function room, whatever you call it) which is located at the 7th floor greeted us and followed by Miss Rhina Villagracia, Sales and Marketing Supervisor as she enthusiastically welcomed us and made us feel at home.

The topic that was discussed was all about the history of Gran Prix , How it started and how unique and extraordinary the hotel is. What they are so proud about is that they have a world class service that provides a personalized level of accommodation and facilities. I can attest to the services that was given to us. The facilities are so appealing and enticing for all the visitors( people from different walks of life) The decorations and arts you see everywhere is a good impression that the hotel offers an elegant, yet affordable and reasonable rates plus the fantastic services an individual could get… We also got the chance to check out the rooms they have, its features and amenities. I have been working the whole day . And my tiring feet and body deserves a relaxing, pampering and comfortable treats. Gran Prix Hotel just recently opened and for all I know there are some hotels or establishments that may be suffering some birth pains and the service might not be good enough. But I was wrong, completely wrong. The hotel is promising . Truly offers a high quality experience with reasonable and affordable rates. uncovering the luxury… My room had the amenities that i am really looking for in a hotel , toiletries, cable television , hot and cold water, controlled air conditioning unit, sound proofed rooms, telephone and breakfast is included PLUS a modern key card lock system.
|how bout unlimited tanduay ice, how does that sound?|
They provided something that even the big hotels in the area did not have…WI FI/ wireless internet service. That truly made me smile….
The most exciting part was prizes that were raffled and awarded to almost everyone of us. Special prizes like an overnight stay at the Grand Prix Hotel Pasay, in cubao , Manila and Overnight stay for two at the Grand Prix Hotel cebu and Grand Prix hotel Boracay. Mind you, they are all expense paid trip and accommodation.Congratulations to all the winners. On the other hand, dinner was overwhelming , special lamb shank which was prepared by the youngest chef i have met (chef Gren) served to us . Monggo soup and Lava cake with a vinegar ice cream were served too. It was a night of gastronomic treats. If you also want to drink and party, you will be able to do so as it has a wide roof deck that allows visitors to jam with live bands and again party the entire night. It was already 4am , All of us felt so tired and kinda dozing off. So We had to go back to our respective rooms and take our beauty sleep …(yii) Just so you know they have various rooms to choose from suite rooms , deluxe rooms, superior rooms and Family rooms . Accommodations start at P1500 up to P2500. Check in time is at 2pm and check out time is at 12noon the next day.
